The burgess ticket also goes on to thank him for a gift of a public library for Dumfries, Scotland and Maxwelltown, Scotland. The casket has ornamental engravings, decorations and the name Louise W. Carnegie engraved over a likeness of her, that is within a circle in the middle of the container. The likeness of Louise Carnegie has a reclining figure on each side of her. The top of the container has a silver statute of the back view of Saint Michael slaying a dragon. The right side of the container has a scene of a river and buildings engraved in it.
