A photograph of the front view of an ornamental silver casket for a burgess ticket from the Royal Burgh of Burntisland, Scotland, conferring upon Andrew Carnegie the "freedom of the Royal Burgh" for his philanthropy and his provision of a library for the town. The casket is shaped like a building and has the details of a building, including a bell tower, windows reflecting the outside scenery, details of a roof and sides of a building, a door and other ornamentation. The building has the raised letters A and C, one on each side of the door and Burntisland in raised letters over the door. Caption title.; On cardboard mount: 25 x 34 cm
