Mugshot of Eugene Regan, age 45, who was arrested for larceny of chickens. Born in Ireland, he worked as an agent. It is noted that he had a ring on his left third finger. On August 23, 1904, he was arrested by Morgans, Sovetts, and Collins. Further research shows that he had worked with Stanley Davis to steal chickens from multiple farms.

Mugshot of Frank Kellett, age 20, who was charged with larceny and being a horse theif. Born in Scratnon, Pa., he worked as a stableman. It is noted that he has a large syphillis scar on his left shin bone. On August 30, 1904, he was arrested by Detective Deiter. Further research shows that he was intially charged with stealing clothes, but an additional charge of stealing a horse from Wilkes-Barre was added.

Mugshot of William Fennell, who was arrested for breaking seal of car. Further research shows Fennell worked with James Brock and Fred Weinss to steal a number of items including groceries. He would confess to the crimes.

Mugshot of John Phillips, who also went by the alias of John Noland. He was arrested for burglary. Further research shows that he worked with John Van Dyke to rob the stand of Pete Ferretti. The two were caught with stolen cigars, candy, and cigarettes. It is interesting to note that Phillips was arrested leaving his mother's funeral.

Mugshot of John Van Dyke, age 17, who was arrested for burglary. Born in Scranton, PA, he worked as a driver in the mines. On September 1, 1904, he was arrested by Collins and Bradshaw. Further research shows that he worked with John Phillips to rob the stand of Pete Ferretti. The pair were caught with cigars, cigarettes, and candy that were stolen.

Mugshot of Thomas Egan, age 39, who was arrested for attempted rape, assault, and battery. Born in Wilmington, Deleware, he worked as a laborer. It is noted that he has a mole on his left cheek and between his eyes. On September 4, 1904, he was arrested by Deiter, Davis, and Hallock. Further research shows that he is believed to have targeted a number of unaccompanied women before being caught.

Mugshot of Matthew Steinbach, age 17, who was arrested for larceny of a bicycle. Born in Scranton, PA, he worked as a bartender. It is noted that he has a scar over his right eye, a scar from a bite, and a small blue mark on his right forearm. On September 13, 1904, he was arrested by Haggerty and Constable Marker. Further research shows that he also stole money from the cash register of the Elk Hotel in Olyphant.

Mugshot of William Beck, who was arrested on the charge of larceny of money. Further research shows Beck worked with Fred May and William Coleman to steal money from James Lewis. The group broke into Lewis' room while he was asleep and took the money from his clothes.

Mugshot of Patrick McCarrick, age 20, who was charged with larceny of rubber boots. Born in Ireland, he worked as a laborer. On Octover 13, 1904, he was arrested by Fred Karius. Further research shows that McCarrick pleaded guilty to stealing the boots from Levy's store.

Mugshot of Michael Healey, age 17, who was charged with larceny of a horse and buggy. Born in South Scranton, Pa., he worked as a laborer. On November 27, 1904, he was arrested by Reserve Peter Marker. Further research shows that he worked with Joseph Reilly to steal the horses from Patrick Brown. The pair were caught when they returned to the barn to steal additional items.

Mugshot of James W. Rose, who was arrested for larceny of an overcoat and shoes. He is shown wearing a shirt with one button undone and a jacket. Further research shows that he stole the overcoat from a manequin it was being displayed on outside of Driesen's store. An eyewitness chased after him and returned him to the police officers that had been called. Earlier that day he had attempted to steal a pair of shoes.

Mugshot of Walter Brugler, who went by the alias of James McGovern. He was arrested for larceny. Further research shows that he stole a shotgun and watch from Byron Horton. Brugler had been wanted in multiple cities for thefts It is interesting to note that he was dishonorably discharged from the Marines for desertion in Allentown, before reenlisting under his alias. He then deserted once more before being arrested in his uniform for this theft.

Mugshot of Frank Duffy, age 18, who was arrested for the larceny of an overcoat. Born in Pittston, Pa., he worked as a laborer. On December 2, 1904, he was arrested by Palmer and Karius. Further research shows that he stole the overcoat from the manequin it was displayed on ourside of Friedenburg's store. Duffy was caught in the act by the officers and claimed he was just trying it on.
