A photograph of a group of Pennsylvania philanthropists who are taking a tour of the Cranberry Iron and Coal property in North Carolina in 1886. This is one of the few photographs of I.V. Williamson, who is fourth from the left in the second row. He would have been 83 years old.

A letter from Lemuel Coffin to John Shrigley, both among the first trustees of Williamson Free School of Mechanical Trades. The letter describes a visit that Mr. Coffin had with I.V. Williamson, 2 weeks before Williamson's death and details some of Williamson's symptoms.

A second letter from Lemuel Coffin to John Shrigley, both members of the original board of trustees of Williamson Free School of Mechanical Trades, on Feb 27, 1889. In the letter, Mr. Coffin describes I.V. Williamson's deteriorating health and his desire to see the piece of property in Media before the trustees purchase it.
