Wirt, Chief Forest Fire Warden. Topics such as the number of acres of forested land in each county, number of acres heavily or thinly timbered, number of acres of forest burned over during past year, value of loss due to fire, actions taken to recover damages from fires, and a comparison of the quantity of forested land in each county with the amount forested ten years prior are discussed in the county commissioners' files.
