Information provided is name of warden, name of penitentiary, name of inmate paroled or respited, crime for which sentenced, penalty imposed, date parole or respite was issued, period of respite in capital cases, and reason for a revocation of parole. The series entitled Parole and Respite Books contains some information similar to that in the Commutation and Parole Books series. The volume dated June 13, 1910-June 21, 1923 contains only paroles granted based on Act of 1909 and supplemental acts. The other volume dated September 10, 1923-June 18, 1942 contains respites and paroles revoked.
