A record of indigent, widowed, and abandoned mothers who were recipients of state money provided for by the Act of April 29, 1913. Data includes the name and address of the mother, the claim number, and the names and birth dates of her children. Images are grouped by county, and thereafter arranged numerically by claim number. This collection is part of Treasury Department which was part of the Constitution of 1776.
