This is the 16mm inauguration film recording of the second president of Wilkes College, Francis J. Michelini, held on November 21st 1970 at the Dorothy Dickson Darte Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA. The recording is approximately 16 minutes 45 seconds long and includes guest speakers First President of Wilkes College, Eugene S. Farley, Governor William W. Scranton, and Francis J. Michelini. The narrator of the film also identified as Fritz Chamberlain. Also featured in the film are University of Pennsylvania's Provost David R. Goddard, Congressman Daniel J. Flood, Aldo Falnetti, Student Government Association representative, Dr. Wright, Faculty representative, and Attorney Joseph B. Savitz, however, we do not have their speeches recorded.
