Mr. and Mrs. Stambaugh traveled extensively throughout various European countries studying hospitals and their methods before the plans were made by New York architects in accordance with Mr. Stambaugh's ideas. 2-17-70 Mr. and Mrs. Stambaugh put a great deal of thought and effort into the furnishing and staffing of the new building.
