Description

This poster advertises a multi-media performance held at the Everhart Museum in Scranton on June 2, 1984. Participants included literary critic and poet Jay Parini, poet Paul Kelly, folk singer Joe Hickerson, musician Tim McGurl, Abram Bernstein, author and scholar Harold Aurand, and radio host George Graham. No video recording of this performance has survived though a video of Paul Kelly reading a poem with an anthracite theme does appear in the Friends of the Scranton Public Library Poetry Series collection.
