Mugshot of Harry Graft, age 17, who was arrested for Burglary. Born in Michican, he worked as a parter. It is noted that he robbed a house in Stroudsburg, Pa. before being arrested on January 30,1903 by Spellman and Casey

Mugshot of Roy Herbart, age 39, who was arrested on charges of false pretenses. Born in Pittsburg, Pa., he worked as a laborer. Herbart was arrested on January 30, 1903 by Lona B. Day. Further research shows that Herbart stole watches and tried to pawn them.

Mugshot of Joseph Whitney, age 32, who was arrested for passing a worthless check. Born in indianapolis, Indiana, he worked as a horse man. It is noted that he has a woman tattooed on his left arm along with a horse head. Whitney was arrested on February 2, 1903. Further research shows that he attempted to pay for a $15 overcoat with a forged check for $30.

Mugshot of Alice Jones charged with assaulting a police officer. Further research shows she bit a police officer on his hand. The officer was attempting to arrest her for public drunkenness.

Mugshot of Carrie Lee, age 28, who was arrested for larceny. Born in Yonkers, New York, she is the wife of James Fitzgerald. Lee was arrested on March 12, 1903 by Malott and McGouldrick. Further research shows that the couple was thought to have stolen perfumery, tooth powder, and similar products.

Mugshot of James Fitzgerald, age 32, who was arrested for Larceny. Born in Yonkers, New York, he worked as a peddler. It is noted that he has a tattoo of clasped hands on his left arm along with the letters "MFF". He was arrested along with his wife, Carrie Lee, on March 12, 1903 by Malott and McGouldrick. Further research shows that the couple was thought to have stolen perfumery, tooth powder, and similar products.

Mugshot of Julius Troy, age 40, who was charged with larceny. Born in Ireland in 1863, he worked as a teamster. On March 21, 1903, he was arrested by Deiter and Block for stealing 150 pounds of copper wire off of an electric railroad track.

Mugshot of Clere Mitchell, age 26, who was arrested for claiming to be a clairvoyant and fortune telling. It is noted that his real name was Harry Waite. Mitchell was born in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean on a boat traveling from England to the United States. He was arrested on March 21, 1903 by Superintendent Day and Detective Dieter. Further research shows that he was wanted in multiple states on the East Coast on the same charges.

Mugshot of Harry Teninty, age 19, who was charged with larceny. He was born in Albany, New York, and worked as a bell boy. Teninty went by the name of William Smith before being arrested by Captain Williams on April 2, 1903.

Mugshot of Thomas Kane, age 33, who was charged with larceny of a horse and buggy. Born in Carbondale, Pa., Kane worked as a miner. He was arrested on April 21, 1903 by David Davis. Further research shows that he was sentenced to three years in Eastern State Penitentiary.

Mugshot of William Sheehan, age 19, who was arrested for forgery. Born in Scranton, Pa., Sheehan worked as a teamster. He was arrested on April 24, 1903 by John D. Thomas. Further research shows, Sheehan signed two checks with the name of his guardian, Agnes Maloney.

Mugshot of Anthony T. Olesnovich, age 16, who was charged with arson. Olesnovich was bornin New York City and worked as an apprenticed tailor. He was arrested on May 1, 1907 by Rose. Further research shows that Olesnovich set a fire in a summer kitchen with the intent to harm his parents and sister. He stated that he wanted to get even with his parents after they accused him of stealing money.

Mugshot of Patrick Rogan, age 24, was arrested for the larceny of chickens. He was born in Scranton, Pa., and worked as a laborer. Rogan was arrested on June 18, 1903 by Adam Pontle. Further research shows he was caught after a patrolman heard a rooster crowing from Rogan's direction. He was sentenced to jail for 30 days.
