Dedications
The John White Geary historical marker is unveiled in New Cumberland at a ceremony (June 10, 1995) to commemorate General Geary's service to country and state in the late 1800s. The marker is located at 3rd and Bridge Streets.
Dedications
Reenactors from the PA 28th group set up camp in the New Cumberland borough park to give visitors a glimpse of camp life during the Civil War era. This was part of the ceremony to dedicate a historical marker to John White Geary, who served as a General in the US Army, June 10, 1995.
