Caption reads: "The women's golf team of the Williamsport Country Club added more laurels to its collection during the week when they were successful in the Four-City Tournament, which comprises women's teams from the country clubs of Williamsport, Wilkes-Barre, Scranton, and Harrisburg. The Williamsport women eliminated Wilkes-Barre at the close of the opening round, then met and defeated the Scranton eight in the finals. This gives the Williamsport team the second leg on the trophy cup, enabling it to tie Scranton, which had two legs prior to this year's tournament, and which expected to annex the trophy permanently last week by taking the third leg. This series of four-city contests has been going on 11 years now. The Wilkes-Barre women won the first cup offered by being the first to register three victories, and then the Wilkes-Barre club offered the present trophy, for which Williamsport and Scranton probably will fight it out to the finish next year on a neutral course.
