Stryker's Knob. Handwritten on back of photograph: "Stryker's Knob called 'Smith's Knob' - Highest point on the Loyalsock. Taken a little above Little Bear Creek. Beaver colony". Caption accompanying photo reads: "This photograph was taken from a spot a little above the Mouth of Little Bear Creek. The 'Knob' (at the left of the range) is the highest peak of the Loyalsock Valley - between 2,000 and 2,100 feet. There is a beaver colony near the rocks in the left foreground. (Handwritten note:] On the state map of the Tiadaghton District this know [sic] has been christened 'Smith's Knob'."
