Roberts Benner Wilson (1795 – 1850); married Margaret Henderson Linn (1830 – 1917) in 1856; brother of Mary E. D. Wilson Linn (1834 - 1907), second wife of John Blair Linn; went to Bellefonte Academy and Dartmouth College; studied law at McCartney’s Law School in Easton, PA; admitted to the Centre County, PA bar in 1849; had the title of Colonel due to his serving as aide on the military staff of Governor William Bigler (1814 - 1880) of Pennsylvania; served as treasurer and secretary of the Bald Eagle Valley Railroad Company; served as treasurer and manager of the Centre and Kishocoquillas Turnpike Road Company; bought and sold real estate; died in Bellefonte, Centre County, PA in 1878 ; buried in Union Cemetery (Bellefonte, PA); printed text below image of 'J.
