The Burgess laid out all appropriate expectations and rules for a peaceful celebration. This announcement offers the Edgewood Community partners who offered space and activities. This is noted as the follow-up celebration of the the previous year's first commemoration.

This press release declares Dr. Adolph Koenig, an Edgewood resident, and acting county medical inspector, in charge of the anticipated influx of flu cases in the state of Pennsylvania, as a result of the Epidemic of 1918. He was responsible for the counties of Allegheny, Washington, Greene.
