Description

This photograph illustrates some of the ""Freshman Rules"" at Lycoming College. The only student identified in this picture is B.J. (Betty) Mengle on the far right. Taken in 1957, the picture shows the signs the freshmen wore around their necks with names and hometowns, peculiar outfits, as well as the ""dink"" sported by the student on the far right. Ann Crum is to the left of the girl wearing the ""dink."" A member of the Class of 1959, Crum shared a great number of candid pictures with the Snowden Librar
