Alvin Wonder
Alvin Wonder was a professor of mathematics and Latin, 1890-1902. Prior to coming to Central Pennsylvania College, he was the principal of the Freeburg Academy, Snyder County, 1885-1890. He died on February 2, 1914, and was buried at his birthplace, Carey, Ohio.

Augustus Sassaman
Portrait of Augustus Sassaman, February 7, 1834 - September 17, 1895. He was one of the first faculty hired for Union Seminary where he taught ancient language and literature. He also served as the Principal, 1860-1862. After he left the Seminary he returned to his native Berks County to become a judge in the Court of Common Pleas.

Northfield Bible Conference
Northfield Bible Summer Conference, 1900. Delegates attended from Central Pennsylvania College, New Berlin, PA. The conferenes were held at Northfield, MA, 1880-1902, and were begun by Dwight L. Moody. First person, Charles Melvin Harner, Class of 1902. Guinter is in the center. Last person on right, Rollin Eugene Wilson, Class of 1902.
