Wilson College World War II Collection documents the experience of Wilson alumnae through correspondence, photographs, and memorabilia from the time. The Collection primarily features the correspondence between Eunice "Bobby" Carpen Johnston '42 and her husband, Warren, a language officer stationed in the Marianas and the materials of Elizabeth McGeorge Sullivan '38 who served as a WASP (Women Airforce Service Pilot)

Ens WR Johnston USNR 4709 Navy Bldg (The little bookmark is in use) Mon. 12:58 am Home at last, and my room feels like a blast furnace. I dread tomorrow but I guess I'll live through it. Probably won't get the checks tallied for two or three days, Sweetie, but I'll return them as soon as I do. Meanwhile you let me know the balance. Loved the letter that was waiting for me here, with its anticipations of the weekend and of my having time to spend with Wendy - it was the nicest weekend yet, my dearests, and I do so look forward to homecoming.
