The Ladies' Choral Club was started in 1921 under the direction of Miss Wentzel. It was organized to promote music appreciation and education.

Susquehanna University Library was built in 1928. The front door faced north towards University Ave. Previously, the library collection was located on the second floor of Gustavus Adolphus Hall. The original Missionary Institute Library was established in 1865, when the Institute inherited its founder Benjamin Kurtz's book collections.

The Conservatory began in 1903 and organized many musical performances by its students. The Susquehanna University Orchestra was formed with both male and female students.
