The dining experience for students at SU evolved a great deal from the more formal era of the 1940s and 1950s to the casual offerings of entrée lines and salad bars of the 1990s.

All students residing on campus are required to have their meals in the Degenstein Campus Center Evert Dining Hall. In the 1990s the weekly menu was published in the campus newspaper, The Crusader.

The Center for Career Services assists students in such areas as exploring career options, job hunting and planning for a post-graduate education. Student Mustaque Ali, Class of 1996, is shown working at his internship with the State Street Global Advisories in Boston.
Crusader Castle, Degenstein Campus Center, Susquehanna University, Encore Cafe
Another option for dining for students was the Encore Café, established in 1992. Formally the Crusader Castle, the Encore Café, located in the lower level of the Degenstein Campus Center, offered quick meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hours of operations were later than those of the Evert Dining Hall giving students the chance to grab a bite to eat if they had missed meal time in the cafeteria.

Sponsored by the SU Athletic Training Club, the first annual Jump Rope For Heart was held on March 27, 1992 at the O. W. Houts Gymnasium. Proceeds from the event went to the American Heart Association.

10,000 Maniacs, Weber Chapel, Susquehanna University, Concerts
Following in the footsteps of such acts as "The Doors" and "The Lovin' Spoonful," the popular musical group "10,000 Maniacs" performed in Weber Chapel on November 9, 1990.
Sexual assault awareness, Parades & rallies, Student movements, Susquehanna University
Sponsored by M. A. R. (Men Against Rape) The first "Take Back the Night" rally was held on April 30, 1992. Its purpose was to raise awareness of sexual assault. Numerous speakers initiated the start of the rally, which was followed by a march with participants chanting and holding banners.
