The Sexual Diversity Awareness Coalition (SDAC) was created to promote awareness and respect for sexual diversity. The group sponsored such events as National Coming Out Week, Gay, Lesbian, and Bisexual Awareness Week as well as film nights.

Sterling Communications

The student run public relations firm, Sterling Communications was established in October of 1992. By 1993, the group had become quite accomplished. A publicity drive for Sun Home Health Services Inc., which included the drafting and release of press releases as well as the creation of a public service announcement for WQSU-FM were among jobs well done. Women's Resource Center
Women's Resource Center, Bogar Hall, Susquehanna University
Located in the basement of Bogar Hall, the Women's Resource Center opened in 1993. The center gave students a place to relax, do homework or to talk about any problems. Pamphlets on rape, abuse, careers, and family roles were available.

The Susquehanna University women's soccer team began its first season as a varsity sport in 1994. Prior to this it held club team status. The team was coached by Kwame Lloyd, a 1993 graduate of SU.
