The German and Spanish Clubs and the Arts Committee of the Program Board sponsored a “Gone with the Wind” costume party. Attendees wore civil war era costumes. Prizes were awarded for the best costumes. The winners and their prizes are listed in this newspaper article.

The Susquehanna University community was asked by the Program Board to vote on a visit from Baroness Maria Von Trapp, the inspiration for the movie “The Sound of Music”.
