The Housing and Boarding section of the 1970 Susquehanna University Bulletin reminds students of requirements for living on campus. It clearly states that there is no campus housing for married students. If a student marries during the academic year, he or she is required to notify the Personnel Deans and leave University housing.

Members of the student-run Orientation Planning Committee were always willing to help make life a little easier for incoming freshman. The committee didn’t stop at sponsoring dances and lectures; they also helped the freshmen move in to the dorms.

This article from the November 19, 1970 Crusader threatened students with fines or jail if abuse of pay phones wasn’t stopped. The increase of abuses, including not paying for calls made to other pay phones or giving fraudulent credit card numbers, could have resulted in the removal of pay phones on campus.
