Ground was broken in 1975 to build two additions to the Alumni Gymnasium. The east side addition would hold a pool and the north side addition would have a basketball court.

Margy DuVal,’76, second from the right, became national president of the International Association of Women Students for the 1975-76 academic year. She is seen here speaking with President Gerald Ford during the United Nations Commission on Women’s International Women’s Year in 1975. DuVal also testified before Congress during her stay at the Nation’s capitol.
