Susquehanna University founded its Sports Hall of Fame in 1967 to honor those students who excelled in athletics. This image, taken from the Fall 1967 Susquehanna Alumnus, shows the group's charter members and provides an update as to the honorees' current activities. Presented to the campus community at the Homecoming game, several members had become coaches in their own right.

Susquehanna University's first wrestling team was launched during the 1966-67 academic year under the direction of Charlie Kunes. During his tenure as coach, Kunes developed the team and beginning around 1969 had an incredible six year run, compiling a 44-18-1 record. Due to budget contraints, however, the wrestling team held its last match in 1996.
