The Alumni Gymnasium, originally built in 1903, was destroyed by fire in 1934 and subsequently rebuilt. In 1962, an addition was built for extra instructional space. Shown is the gymnasium as it appeared in 1962.

Constructed in 1928, the University library was expanded in 1958. The new addition featured a clock tower. The class of 1962 presented the University with four new clocks for the tower and those clocks are featured in this image from the summer of 1962.
