Members of the Symphonic Band were selected during Freshman Orientation through competitive auditions. The group had an annual tour through out Pennsylvania and the surrounding states. The 1969 members of the Symphonic Band are shown in this photo.

Groundbreaking for the new Theta Chi Fraternity House took place in 1960. By 1961, the Fraternity had moved from its old location at 400 West Pine Street to the new house on the west end of campus. Shown here are members of the Theta Chi Fraternity enjoying their new digs in 1961.

The intercollegiate women's hockey team was started in 1961 under the direction of Coach Cochran. Today, the sport is better known as field hockey.

The Radio Association was formed in 1965 and began broadcasting under the new call letters WQSU in the spring of 1967. This image shows the 1969 members of WQSU.

Susquehanna University's first wrestling team was launched during the 1966-67 academic year under the direction of Charlie Kunes. During his tenure as coach, Kunes developed the team and beginning around 1969 had an incredible six year run, compiling a 44-18-1 record. Due to budget contraints, however, the wrestling team held its last match in 1996.
