This page from a 1951 Crusaders football game program shows the undefeated team's roster.The cigarette advertisement encouraging college students to choose Chesterfield cigarettes over other brands reminds us that smoking was an acceptable habit. Note the absence of a Surgeon General's health warning at that time.
Bogar Hall, Susquehanna University, Bogar, Jerry D., Jr., Theatrical productions
Named in honor of Jerry Bogar and his son, Guy, its two largest donors, Bogar Hall housed the University's Arts and Humanities Programs. Dramas were presented in the "Little Theatre". Susquehanna students performed The Merchant of Venice there in 1952.

Founded in 1958 as the Missionary Institute, Susquehanna University began its history with just one building named Selinsgrove Hall. In 1958, the University celebrated its centennial and at the time of this benchmark had expanded to include nine buildings.
