The Susquehanna University Centennial Year was celebrated in 1958. At that time the only published history of the Institute was The Story of The Story of Susquehanna University was written by William S. Clark, class of 1948, and Dr. Arthur Herman Wilson, a Professor of English. Clark wrote about the Institute's history from 1858 to 1927. Wilson wrote about the Institute's history from 1928 to 1958. Shown here is the cover page of The Story of Susquehanna University. The next history of the University would not be written until 2008, when Emeritus Professor of History Donald D. Housley completed his account in time for the University's Sesquicentennial.
