Susquehanna University celebrated its centennial in 1958. Shown here are the commencement exercises of 1958 taking place in front of Bogar Hall. The stage-like entrance to the building made it perfectly suited to the happy occasion.

Founded in 1958 as the Missionary Institute, Susquehanna University began its history with just one building named Selinsgrove Hall. In 1958, the University celebrated its centennial and at the time of this benchmark had expanded to include nine buildings.
