Fraternities & sororities, Theta Chi, Dance parties, Susquehanna University
In the 1950s, Theta Chi was the largest fraternity on campus. Its motto was " Alma Mater first and Theta Chi for alma mater." The brothers scheduled social events throughout the year. Among the most popular activities sponsored by the fraternity were the Dutch, Halloween and Christmas parties and a formal commencement dance. This 1956 image shows the brothers and their dates enjoying a Halloween dance.
