The goal of the Hispanic Organization for Latino Awareness (HOLA) is to bring an awareness of the Hispanic culture to the S.U. community and the surrounding area. Events held by the club have been an annual Gala Dance and donations to the Toys for Tots program.

In August of 2005, Hurricane Katrina, one of the largest natural disasters in the history of the United Sates, devastated the Gulf Coast. To help victims of the storm, Susquehanna University responded by organizing a Hurricane Relief Team made up of students, faculty and staff. The Mock Trial team portrayed attorneys and witnesses in a hypothetical case. These portrayals were open to students interested in the study of law and the litigation process and also helped to improve advocacy skills. The Mock Trial membership is shown in this 2007 image.
Students Awareness of the Value of the Environment (SAVE), Students, Susquehanna University, Community service
The group, Students Awareness of the Value of the Environment (SAVE), promotes respect for and maintenance of the environment. The club sponsors speakers and its members volunteer at the no-kill shelter Mostly Mutts, as well as the Far Point Stables horse rescue. SAVE's members pose for a picture in the 2007 Lanthorn.
Student Liberals Activists and Progressives (S.L.A.P.), Students, Susquehanna University
Some of the events that members of the Student Liberals Activists and Progressives (S.L.A.P.) participate in are voter registration drives on campus, the sale of reusable coffee mugs to promote fair trade, and debates with the S.U.
