The Susquehanna University Equestrian Team (S.U.E.T.) was founded in 2002 by students Stephanie Eden, Rebecca Mann, Laura Lancieri and Andrea Huntley. By 2004, the group had 15 members/riders. Training was held at Fox View in Lewisburg, PA. Members were required to attend at least one lesson a week.

In 2004, Snyder County was declared a disaster area after Hurricane Ivan drenched the area with heavy rains. Susquehanna University students helped with the Red Cross relief efforts by distributing food and helping with the removal of debris.
