Two photographs of medals in bronze, gold and silver, showing both sides of each medal issued by Fondation Carnegie, the French equivalent of the Carnegie Hero Fund Trust. One side on each of the medals features the portrait of Andrew Carnegie and the inscriptions "Fondation Carnegie, 1909" and "Liberalite d'un citoyen Americain pour recompenser les actes de courage accomplis en France." The other side of each of the medals shows an angel placing a crown of laurels on the head of a genuflecting male figure and bears the inscriptions "Aux heros de la civilisation" and "Andrew Carnegie, 1909."
