A signed typescript letter from Samuel Church to Andrew Carnegie discussing the program of activities for the upcoming Founder's Day celebration and requesting a letter from Carnegie that Church can read to those in attendance. In a handwritten addition to the letter, Church reports that Edwin Lemare, Carnegie Institute Director of Music and Organist, has resigned.
