A signed handwritten letter from Andrew West to Andrew Carnegie written in response to Carnegie's March 24th letter to West's sister Clara. West thanks Carnegie for his kindness to his sister, a former dean at the Margaret Morrison Carnegie School, and informs him that she was not driven from her job due to ill health, but rather by bullying from school director Arthur Hamerschlag.
