Photographs of the front and reverse views of a silver gilt key presented to Andrew Carnegie at his opening of the public library at Govan, Scotland. The library was gifted to the people by Mrs. John Elder in 1903. The key contains a coat of arms in the middle of the handle on the front side of the key and the presentation statement to Andrew Carnegie on the reverse side in the middle of the handle of the key.
