A translated unsigned typescript copy of a letter from German Museum Director August Brauer, presumably written to Carnegie Museum Director William Holland, discussing plans to install a gift diplodocus model in the Light-court of the Royal Museum of Natural History in Berlin in spring 1908.

A cartoon picturing three men regarding an empty alcohol bottle. The cartoon pictures Philip Burne-Jones showing Rudyard Kipling, his father, John Lockwood Kipling, and the artist himself perched upon a cloud around a gigantic bottle, all raising a glass presumably in honor of Andrew Carnegie. Included is an illegible note written by Andrew Carnegie. The cartoon is accompanied by two quotations from Robert Burns and the inscription "The Manse, Creich."

An article from 1890 from The Pittsburg Press that speculates on the future location of the City of Pittsburgh's first Carnegie Library. The author questions placing the Library in the Oakland neighborhood rather than in Downtown Pittsburgh, and briefly discusses the possible gift of land from Charles J. Clarke. At the bottom of the clipping there is some damage, and text is missing.
