A photograph of the reverse view of an oak casket given to Andrew Carnegie by the City of New York. The casket had once been owned by Sir Thomas Hope of Edinburgh, Scotland, whose house later became the site of a public library donated by Andrew Carnegie. The purpose of the casket was to hold a burgess ticket.
