A typescript letter from Frances Jenkins Olcott, Chief of the Children's Department of Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, describing praise for the Training School for Children's Librarians expressed by Belgian professor Omer Buyse, the Bishop of Tacoma (a member of the board of directors of Tacoma Pubic Library), and Bolette Sontum, a graduate of the school who had recently acquired a position in Norway.

Frothingham states that demand for librarians has been great, and makes note of the absence of Anderson H. Hopkins, Director of Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. A passing reference is made to Frances Jenkins Olcott, Chief of the Children's Department of Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh.
