A typescript letter from William Nimick Frew to Andrew Carnegie inviting Carnegie and his wife Louise Whitfield Carnegie to attend the Founder's Day celebration. Frew explains that bids will be submitted for doing the excavation and footing courses for the foundation of the extension of the Main Library building in Oakland (Pittsburgh, Pa.).
