A typescript letter from Samuel Harden Church to Andrew Carnegie concerning his visit with ex-President Grover Cleveland and his wife Mrs. Frances Cleveland at their home in Princeton, N.J.. While there they discussed Founder's Day at the Carnegie Institute. He states that Mrs. Cleveland also plans to attend the Founder's Day celebration where Cleveland will speak. Church also mentions that they talked about portraits of Mr. Cleveland and Mrs. Cleveland which prompts Church to wonder if they would donate them to the Carnegie Gallery. He concludes by stating that Mr. Bigelow tells him that the ground for the extensions (presumably the Institutes building extension) is ""about ready to hand over"".
