A photograph of a Holland Red Cross medal, presented to Mrs. Carnegie at Shadowbrook, the Carnegie's summer retreat located in Lenox, Massachusetts. Louise Carnegie was given this medal for her donation for the Red Cross Hospital. The medal features a metallic Greek cross with a smaller Greek cross in the middle of the larger cross. A circle surrounds the smaller cross and is inscribed with what looks like: "PRO MERITO". There are four lions with crowns in between each arm of the main cross. The ribbon is attached to the cross by a decorative metal crown. Caption title.; On cardboard mount: 35 x 26 cm
