The Fraktur birth certificate for Elizabeth Seinmann. [German] Diesen beyden Ehegatten, als: Jacob Steinman und seiner ehelichen Hausfrau Elisabeth begorne Lingin ist ein Sohn zur welt geboren, den im Jahr unsers Herrn Jesu 1817, den 20ten Tag November. Dieser Tocheter (?) ist geboren in Connemach Township in Cambria Caunty, im dem Freystaat Pennsylvanien in Nord-Amerika: und ist getauft worden, und erheielt den Namen Elizabeth den 22ten Tag Juni im Jarh users Herrn Jesu 1819 von Herrn. Prediger Leidy. Die Tauf-zeugen waren (?). [English Translation] Birth and Baptisimal Certificate. To these two married persons, to wit: Jacob Steinmann and his devoted wife Elisabeth born Lingin has been born a daughter, the 20th of November in the year of our lord 1819. This daughter has been born in Conemaugh Township in Cambria County, in the state of Pennsylvania in North America; and has been baptized, and received the name Elizabeth the 22nd day of June in the year of our Lord 1819 by Mr. Revered Liedy. The witnesses of baptism were (?).
