[German] Diesen beyden Ehegatten, als: Jacob Steinman und seiner ehelichen Hausfrau Elisabeth begorne Lingin ist ein Sohn sur welt geboren, den 31ten August im Jahr unsers Herrn , 1807. Dieser Sohn ist geboren in Cannemach Township in Cambria Caunty, im dem Staat Pennsylvanien in Nord-Amerika: und ist getauft worden, und erheielt den Namen Christian den 29ten Tag September im Jarh users Herrn 1810 von Hrn. (?). Die Tauf-zeugen waren Hennrigh Fuller und seine Ehefrau (?). [English Translation] Birth and Baptisimal Certificate. To these two married persons, to wit: Jacob Steinmann and his devoted wife Elisabeth born Lingin has been born son, the 31st day of August in the Year of our Lord 1807. This son has been born in Conemaugh Township in Cambria County, in the state of Pennsylvania in North America; and has been baptized, and received the name Christian the 29nd day of September in the year of our Lord 1807 by Mr. Revered (?). The witnesses of baptism were Heinrich Fuller and his wife (?).
