[German] Diesen beyden Ehegatten, als: Jacob Steinman und seiner ehelichen Hausfrau Elisabeth begorne Lingin ist ein Sohn zur welt geboran, den 18ten Tag Mertz im Jahr unsers Herrn, 1810. Dieser Sogn ist geboren in Connemach Township in Cambria Caunty, im Staat Pennsylvanien in Nord-Amerika: und ist getauft worden, und erheielt den Namen Jacob den 29ten Tag September im Jarh users Herrn 1810 von Hern. Predier (?) die Tauf-zeugen waren Daniel Ling, und (?) Kittel. [English Translation] Birth and Baptisimal Certificate. To these two married persons, to wit: Jacob Steinmann and his devoted wife Elisabeth born Lingin has been born a son, the 18th day of Match in the year of our lord 1810. This son has been born in Conemaugh Township in Cambria County, in the state of Pennsylvania in North America; and has been baptized, and received the name Jacob the 29th day of September in the year of our Lord 1810 by Mr. Revered (?). The witnesses of baptism were Daniel Ling and (?) Kittel.
