Description

Congress in H R. 99-714, the second session, thru an add on sum, $150,000, authorized the conduct of a study of the village of La Mott, to assess its significance, eligibility, and suitability for inclusion in the National Park System. The Citizens for the Restoration of Historical La Mott Inc., a Pennsylvania chartered 501C(3), organized in 1969 to preserve the site, herein responds to the Secretary with the history, under rule Part 65.5 Special Studies, that is used for the designation of National Historic Landmarks. The 'Site', carries State of Pennsylvania, Cheltenham Township, and National Register, Historic Places Designation status since 1969, 1974 and 1985 respectively.
