Composition was a required course of study at the Lawrenceville Female Seminary for all three classes. According to an 1867 publication by the Lawrenceville Female Seminary, Mary E. D. Wilson never graduated. Known records indicate that she attended only three sessions from May 1851 - Sept. 1852.
