Charlie Hale wants Mary's photograph. Capt. Wilson and the 2nd PA Cavalry received marching orders. In anticipation of the march, the 2nd PA Cavalry cooked rations for 3 days and were told they could not take their tents; they were to sleep on the ground.

Benner Wilson went to get pay for May and June; (2) in the 1862-07-24 letter to Frank Wilson it is mentioned that $250 was sent that day by Adams Express; (3) the battle of Cedar Mountain was fought Aug. 8, 1862 and involved Confederate General Stonewall Jackson bringing troops into Culpeper County, VA; (4) both the 84th and 110th PA Regiments fought in this battle and were located near Alexandria prior to the battle; (5) the 2nd PA Cavalry (P. Benner Wilson’s unit) moved from Clouds Mills, VA (near Alexandria, VA] to Warrenton, VA on July 26, 1862 as evidenced by the 1862-07-29 letter to William Wilson.
